These are pictures from our 2010 summer vacation at Lake Hope State Park.
Craig and I have been discussing our family vacation for 2011.
We have our old favorite places that we like to go, such as Lake Hope, King's Island, etc.,
but we are also curious about checking out some new places.
Anybody have any ideas of not too far away places that you enjoy going
with lots of fun, cheap, family friendly activities?

  1. Looks like lots of fun. The only place that i can think of close to home that we have visited is Clays Park. It's north of here. It was a lot of fun when we went there a couple of years ago. We always like to go to the ocean for vacation. So we always have to travel far to find a beach. This year we are going to Treasure Island in Florida for Thanksgiving.

  2. Well, it is 6-7 hours to Niagara, USA and there is LOTS of outdoor stuff to do there. With the "Discovery Pass" includes 5 activities plus free trolley rides all over the US side of the falls. We loved it as much as the kids. I attached the link below. It was the trip of a lifetime and believe me, all of our trips are on a tight budget!! Also, not sure if you guys camp or have RV-camper capabilities, but there is a campsite nearby and cabin rental, link also below. We can't wait to go back!!
